BASIC DREAM STAR TEMPLATES

Two basic star options you can use to create your Dream Star

Stars come in many shapes and sizes. You can use your own creativity to create a Dream Star
for display or hanging, or use one
of the two templates provided.

One template is the common, five-pointed star. The other template is a seven-pointed star based on the cover of Dream. A seven-pointed star was chosen as the key symbol in Dream because in mythology and some religions it represents integration, the unity of mind, body, and spirit. Seven is a lucky number. This star is also used to represent the seven liberal arts of classic antiquity: geometry, astronomy, mathematics, logic, grammar, rhetoric, and music. In engineering, the seven-pointed star represents the supremacy of reason.

Once you decide on your star shape, cut it out and write your name and your dream on the front. Your dream or goal can be something you'd like to be or do, a dream for your community, or a dream for our world.

Once you've written down your dream, decorate the star using colors and materials that reflect your dream and who you are.

Display or hang your Dream Star in a prominent place to inspire everyone who sees it and remind you of your goal every day.
